Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actor who is also a director, writer and producer. Anna Silk's father is British, and her mother, is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her work at play rehearsals. In her early years Anna was a part of a variety of commercials for television. Anna moved in Toronto in order to help her acting develop. Later, the actress moved to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in 2009. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December the same year, and they then renewed their vows during an Jewish wedding ceremony that took place in Fredericton the month of April in 2011. Bo's relationship and Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was featured in CNN's list of all-time Favorite Television Couples and was named the top Television Couple of the year 2013 by E!
