Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer, recognized as a member of the group One Direction. Parents include Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was born on the 1st of February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, together with his fellow classmates, formed a musical group called White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to take home the Battle of Bands 2009. Though he's been fascinated by music, he also aspired to become an lawyer or physiotherapist. While working in the city's bakery, Harry Styles was able to feed his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, the Stevie Wonder song. He was selected. For that reason his band was forced to break up. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge that suggested Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group. They were first created in the year 2010. The group sang the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The consequence, they were one of the finalists. However they were 3rd place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Even though Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell agreed to pay 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with Syco Records. Syco Record label.
